As competition increases, retirement facilities are responding to new market demands for on-site entertainment amenities. St. Barnabas Health System boasts a multi-purpose 300-seat theater, which will accommodate live performances, lectures, film screenings, chamber/choral concerts, seminars and small meetings. The Kean Theater will also be available to businesses and local communities for lectures, seminars and symposia.

• The A/V system provides flexibility to support video-based seminars, lectures and panel discussions, musical and theatrical performances and film screenings.
• The audio system includes speech and sound reinforcement for theater functions plus an infrared wireless headphone system for assisted listening.
• The video system provides clear and legible projected images from computer and video-based content.
• The lighting provides flexibility to support the variety of required functions and two mixing stations.
• The center 50 seats provide high-speed network infrastructure to support voice and data.
• The lectern contains detachable microphone and LCD touch-screen to allow the presenter to preview video and computer-based materials and control lighting.
• The presentation/performance system consists of high-resolution video/data projectors on a motorized retractable lift, motorized screen and sound/speech reinforcement system.

The audio system delivers stereo or film/video surround sound signals utilizing a Dolby Digital controller, and includes a 16 channel analog mixing console, automatic mixer/processor and a variety of wired/wireless configurations.
