The Stanford University School of Medicine has embarked on an ambitious program to create the learning environment of the future. The technology-enabled facilities of the Stanford Learning and Knowledge Center (LKC) will provide new opportunities for interdisciplinary, interactive, collaborative and hands-on education and learning activities for students, clinicians, researchers and the community at large.

Includes Immersive Learning Center, Knowledge Management Center and Medical School Conference Center, establishing the template for a learning environment that fully integrates access to information and information experts. When complete, LKC will house the full complement of teaching, learning, knowledge management and public assembly facilities for the School of Medicine.

Project definition, technology programming, cost estimates for $200 million facility; 120,000 SF new construction, 80,000 SF renovation.
