Creating a productive workplace was a key priority in the design the new PNC First Side Banking Operations Center. Amenities that increase productivity while reducing turnover (and associated significant retraining expenses) are a sound investment.

Toward that goal, PNC Bank provides employees a safe, fun, and educational environment for their children to explore their creativity and develop a range of skills, assisted by a full time staff. The Childcare Creative Learning Center is a stimulating, media-rich facility in the heart of the financial institution’s new technology-driven, wired corporate environment.

The Childcare Creative Learning Center features a high-output LCD projector capable of composite, component, and high-resolution computer signals, multi-channel sound reinforcement system supporting audio requirements from a variety of sources, and convenient media system control via user-friendly, wall-mounted touch panel. Children enjoy the full stage and theatre, with a computer “cave” and “tree house” holding kid-friendly hardware for educational activities, interactive games and digital graphic creations. Images can even be created and displayed as electronic sets for imaginative puppet shows, plays and presentations.
