With an eye toward increasing revenue streams, “Phoenix Muni” sought stadium renovations that would make telecasting games from the site more broadcaster-friendly while simultaneously enhancing the fans’ experience.

Focusing on features that would contribute to increased attendance, attract more TV revenue, and save time and money in telecast set-ups, The Sextant Group was enlisted to integrate a variety of technologies to accomplish that goal. A thorough review of the entire video/data infrastructure included input and perspective from architect, municipality, team, broadcasters and fans.

The process revealed certain features as key, including: redesign of the entire broadcast infrastructure, the addition of videocoaching systems, sound reinforcement system redesign, and the expansion and modernization of press and front office facilities. All design was done within a mindset of laying groundwork to “future-proof” the facility.
