PRESBYTERIAN HEALTH FOUNDATION
Executive Conference Center
Oklahoma City OK
The new Presbyterian Health
Foundation
Executive
Conference Center in the
Oklahoma Health Center’s
Research Park
was designed
to support spin-off
development
of the significant medical
research occurring in the area.
The facility theatres are capable of
supporting real-time sharing and
collaborative analysis of large-scale
(including 3-dimensional) data sets. In the
light of recent health, disease and security
concerns, it presages the possibility of command-and-control centers for crisis management.
The 50-seat fan-shaped Tiered Conference Room features advanced AV capabilities, including Voice-Lift sensors and a sophisticated sound distribution system that “knows” who is speaking and where. An acoustical cloud appropriately redistributes direct sound and, when combined with voice-lift sound reinforcement, delivers a noticeably clear and natural feel. Six robotic cameras follow the action in the room, delivering professional results without a raft of technicians or operators. The 20-seat, high-end executive-level boardroom is designed for medical visualization, and features an integrated 6-cube system handling up to 17 visual sources on screen simultaneously, both analog and digital. The display is pixel-rich, faithfully rendering everything from full-motion moving video to high-resolution computer data sets, graphics, JPEGs and bitmaps. Resolution is equivalent of 3.9 times HDTV.
All video, audio, lighting and other functions are controlled via simple intuitive touch panel system.
