PRINCIPAL OF OPERATIONS
Sean is an experienced media
systems professional who brings
precision and clarity of vision to
complex projects. He has been
responsible for managing diverse
academic and student services
projects that include the California
Institute for Telecommunications and
Information Technology (Cal-IT2) at
the University of California-San Diego,
the new Science & Technology
building at East Carolina University,
and the University Commons student
center at the University of Vermont.
Sean was in charge of telecommunications and audiovisual systems design for a new classroom
building for the College of Education at Saginaw Valley State University, Saginaw MI. As part of
the Medical College of Ohio’s Center for the Classrooms of the Future project, Weida
managed concept development, acoustical design, infrastructure and systems
design for DILE, the Digitally Integrated Learning Environment. At West Liberty State
College in West Virginia, Sean managed the design, bid and integration of
structured cabling, data network, and building security systems for six on-campus residence
halls.
Weida is currently project manager for the new School of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University, the Center for Health Science Education at the
University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a new classroom building for Wake Technical Community
College in Raleigh NC. Other recently completed projects include new corporate facilities for Mitsubishi Electric Power Products and
Agnew Moyer Smith, the Stephen Foster Memorial Theater at The University of Pittsburgh, a 300-seat
auditorium for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, plus lecture halls and the new Campus Center at
Monroe Community College in Rochester NY.
Sean holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Communications with a specialization in Television,
Radio and Audio Production from Ithaca College, has been certified by the International Communications
Industries Association (ICIA) as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) since 2001, and is an active
member of the Audio Engineering Society.
