For over 30 years, Michael Leiboff has been an innovator and thought leader in the design of cutting edge conference, presentation, meeting and classroom facilities for hundreds of corporate, academic and government clients. With a deep and abiding interest in learning space design, he has a commitment to achieving ongoing flexibility and future-proofing facilities by providing a comprehensive and forwarding looking architectural infrastructure.

Formerly a partner at an international multidisciplinary technology consulting firm headquartered in New York City, Michael headed the educational technology facilities design studio, also serving as principal in charge of key academic, corporate and government projects. His strengths in project visioning, client facilitation, facilities planning, and project management leadership lead him to establishing his own independent educational technology planning consultancy in 2008, which he headed up until joining The Sextant Group.

Leiboff has helped hundreds of institutions through a commitment to broadening clients' horizons through facilitated planning workshops. Success has come through a visionary perspective anticipating future needs, rather than looking to the past for design decisions.

Wide ranging personal project experience spans an impressive list of academic and corporate blue chip clients, from the University Of Michigan, Princeton University, and multiple campuses within the SUNY System, to the US Department of Education, IBM, Chrysler, Goldman Sachs, Price Waterhouse, World Bank, United Nations, and the Museum of Modern Art. Business School project credentials include MIT Sloan Business School, Wharton School of Business, Harvard University's School of Business, and Columbia University School of Business & Law.

Michael holds an MBA from New York University Graduate School of Business, with specialization in Management and Strategic Planning and an undergraduate degree from Boston University. He presents regularly about technology-enabled communications and advanced educational technology, including presentations for the Society of College and University Planners, the New York State Department of Education, and the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Michael also contributes to Campus Technology Magazine.

Michael is an avid photographer and has published many of his photographs in various professional journals and in the New York Times.
