MATTHEW J. LEFEBER CTS
PROJECT CONSULTANT

As an expert audio, video and acoustical designer, Matthew has served as project manager, design consultant, system tuning specialist, and/or installation technician on more than one hundred projects throughout the Midwest. Over the past decade, he has designed a diverse array of audiovisual systems for clients in the higher education, government and private markets.

Matthew joins The Sextant Group from his own Omaha-based audiovisual and acoustical consulting firm, LeFeber Acoustical Consulting, Inc. Prior to that position, Matthew was Senior Systems Design Consultant for a prominent acoustical technologies firm and an installation technician for an audiovisual contractor. Personal project experience with those prior firms include working with higher education clients both here and abroad, plus government projects for The Special Ops in Fort Bragg, Boone County Courthouse in Columbia MO, Prairie Band Tribal Court House in the Potawatomi Nation KS, and the Orange City Events Center in Orange City IA. Matt has also successfully completed many K-12 education and houses of worship projects. One of his favorite projects was the highly technical design of training and command and control centers for the Special Ops in North Carolina, where he enjoyed getting a rare glimpse into the very private special operation forces of the US Army.

Current and recent assignments include TD Ameritrade, plus the Universities of Iowa, Colorado, Missouri, Michigan, Nebraska and Louisiana State.

Matthew holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. He is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) as awarded by InfoComm International. In his free time, Matthew enjoys playing the bass guitar and recording various local artists with his Pro Tools recording studio. Matthew and his wife Amber reside in Omaha, Nebraska….go Huskers!
