TIM JOHNSON RCDD, CTS
SENIOR SYSTEMS DESIGNER

Tim has over 29 years experience in the telecommunications industry. He brings extensive knowledge in structured cabling and documentation, including construction document preparation, labor and material costing and detailed specification preparation.

As operations manager for a local telecommunications company, Tim worked closely with his teams to develop working relationships with industry partners and clients. Previously as a senior project manager he guided his teams through the estimating, design and installation phases, while maintaining quality assurance and the closeout of projects. As owner of a voice and data company, Tim handled all hard bid and direct source estimating, along with work load and scheduling management.

Johnson has applied this experience to design telecom systems for some of the world’s largest corporations from JP Morgan Chase to Bank of America, as well as structured cabling for corporations such as Edward Jones and First Data Corporation.

He is an active member of Building and Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), through which he is certified as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). An Arizona native who loves hiking and golf, Tim dedicates his free time to the Special Olympics, volunteering and coaching.
