ED DUKSTEIN CTS-D
SENIOR SYSTEMS DESIGNER
"Duke" is an exceptional systems engineer with
more than 20 years experience in systems design,
recording, mixing, installation, sound reinforcement
and maintenance in commercial production studios.
He has significant experience in configuration,
integration, and operations of digital workstations
for audio and video production, editing, and post-
production, and spent two years touring with the Miami
Sound Machine for their "Let It Loose" World Tour as audio engineer.
Project experience includes
theaters, media research facilities, recording studios, broadcast
and production studios, campus centers, science buildings, and
teleconferencing facilities. As systems engineer for the California
Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Cal-IT2)
project at The University of California-San Diego, he is involved in
the development of cutting edge systems for immersive
visualization, advanced methods of media production and interactive performance.
From his work on state-of-the-art facilities at Arizona State University, East Carolina
University and Oklahoma City's Presbyterian Health Foundation, Dukstein has demonstrated
skill in the design of Access Grid systems and other specialized Internet2
video conferencing applications.
Duke earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Engineering Technology with a minor in
Electrical Engineering at the University of Miami, is an active member of the Audio
Engineering Society, and is credentialed with the prestigious Certified Technology
Specialist-Design (CTS-D) as awarded by InfoComm International.
