IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Michael is a management information systems and information technologies expert, an accomplished industry veteran with an extensive background in providing remote network and user help desk / desktop support services for corporate clients. He brings to The Sextant Group experience as a NOC Engineer for a national network consulting, colocation and managed services provider where he oversaw a spectrum of over 1,000 devices dispersed around the globe for clients spanning higher education, corporate, government, institutional and military.
Mike administers network, servers and end users across 15 different sites for The Sextant Group throughout the US. He manages major internal projects including server migrations, Revit systems and collocating equipment. He also handles company phone systems, oversees 10+ servers, and manages software licensing throughout The Sextant Group networks.
He has taken on projects domestically in Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana as well as internationally. Mike has completed IT projects in China and Brazil and has had a lot of exposure to different technologies including VMware, Citrix, Watchguard and more. Mike is particularly proud of the network and laboratory set-up project he completed at Fort Campbell.
Michael is completing his Bachelors Degree of Technical Management from DeVry University. He also holds an Associates Degree of Specialized Business from Computer Tech in Computer Information Management Program.
