ALEXANDER ACERO CTS
SYSTEMS DESIGNER
A professional with over 12 years in the audiovisual and technology industry, Alex brings considerable project management, infrastructure design, planning, relationship building and leadership experience across a wide range of complex projects, including higher education, corporate and civic.
Serving as a Senior Technology Consultant at a global design, planning, engineering, and consulting firm before coming to The Sextant Group, Alex has worked on a myriad of high profile projects. Prior projects include audiovisual in The New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and audiovisual in the Eleanor and Wilson Greatbatch Pavilion. Further experience includes audiovisual for New York University's Department of Philosophy, audiovisual systems and infrastructure design, project management, consulting and construction administration for multiple projects at Yale University, audiovisual infrastructure for the Gates Computer Science Center at Carnegie Mellon University, plus audiovisual infrastructure for corporate projects at some of New York's largest international investment firms.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, and is currently working towards a Masters in Business Administration at Fordham University with dual concentrations in Communications and Media Management and Management Systems. He is credentialed as a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) by InfoComm International.
