KNIZNER JOINS THE SEXTANT GROUP AS PROJECT MANAGER

Phoenix, AZ, January 1, 2002 --
Martin J. Knizner has joined The Sextant Group as a Project Manager. Marty has over 19 years in the telecommunications and multimedia industries and was most recently the Western Regional Division Manager Fujitsu Business Communication Systems.

Marty has been involved in systems analysis and design, large switching systems, voice and data networks, high speed data networks, product and service planning, and technical support of numerous products. He has recently managed projects totaling nearly $30 million annually, including large-scale campus telecommunications installations for the California State University system and Fluor-Daniels World Headquarters in Los Angeles.

Marty's combination of a strong technical background and past experience in a productivity and planning role reinforce his ability to plan and execute complex projects. He is schooled in the YCA "Project Success" methodology which strives for consistent results, clearly defined project plans, successful cost controls, and customer satisfaction that creates a best-in-class performance. Marty will act as project manager for most projects on the West Coast as well as major corporate installations that require his experience and telecommunications expertise. Marty is a member of Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI).
