PADOVAN NAMED VP/PRINCIPAL
OF THE SEXTANT GROUP

The Sextant Group,
Inc.
has recently named Patrick M. Padovan as Vice
President and Principal of the
firm. Pat has been with
The Sextant Group since 1996, acting as Director of
Engineering.
For more than twenty-five years, Pat has been involved
in audio and video systems design and engineering. His
experience covers a
broad range of project types and
applications, including broadcasting, production,
and
communications. Pat is an expert in audio and video
technologies, multimedia
display technologies, and user
control systems. He is an accomplished team
leader and
has headed a variety of design and installation projects
including
large-scale, multi-state systems integration
management, and is accustomed
to implementing new
technologies in a variety of applications.
Pat is responsible for media systems design, engineering
and quality control of all Sextant projects. His higher
education projects
include a new science and technology
building at East Carolina University,
the Regional
Technology Center of Mott Community College in Flint,
Michigan,
The Classrooms of the Future at the Medical
College of Ohio, WLEX-TV in Lexington,
KY, a mobile
broadcasting unit for SporTVision, Inc., three mobile units
for
the PGA Tour, the Hetzel Student Union at Penn State
University, and the Technology
Resource Center at Saint
Vincent College. His corporate projects have included
training, meeting, conferencing and video conference facilities
for FreeMarkets,
Inc., Bank One Headquarters in Columbus,
OH, Heinz Corporation World Headquarters,
Bayer Corporation,
Respironics, Inc., Braebender Cox, and Deloitte and Touche.
Pat performed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown
State University. He is a member consultant of the National
System Contractors
Association, the Society for Motion
Picture and Television Engineers, and
the Audio Engineering Society.
