The Sextant Group is opening the firm's ninth office in Columbus OH. For years, architects in the region — and their clients in business, education, healthcare and government — have turned to The Sextant Group for independent technology consulting and design in Audiovisual and Information Technologies, Security, Acoustics and Lighting, for projects that include higher education, health care, corporate, performing arts, broadcast/studios and sports facilities.

This new Columbus office is yet another indication of The Sextant Group’s strategic growth. “We’re tremendously excited about this expanded presence in Columbus,” says CEO Mark Valenti, citing more than 1,200 projects for over 700 clients across North America in the firm’s seventeen year history. “This office allows us to better serve Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan architects and owners, expanding our ability to deliver highly effective integrated technology and acoustics solutions, improving clients’ communication and collaboration capabilities,” Valenti adds.  In 2011, the firm not only opened a San Francisco office, but also significantly increased staffing across the country, and moved into a new corporate HQ virtually double the size of the previous facility.

The Sextant Group's Columbus office is already working on over 30 projects that include Indiana University, Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, Mount Carmel Healthcare, Lorain County Community College, Northern Kentucky University, and Miami University. Additional projects in the region include Ohio University, Grange Insurance, University of Michigan, City of Detroit, Indiana University and the Cleveland Clinic (just opened in 2012).
