SEAN WEIDA, PAUL DOOLEY PROMOTED TO PRINCIPALS OF TECHNOLOGY CONSULTING FIRM THE SEXTANT GROUP
MAY 27, 2008 PITTSBURGH PA – Continuing to position The Sextant Group, Inc. for future growth, President and CEO Mark S. Valenti announced further corporate restructuring that includes the promotion of Sean Weida and Paul Dooley to principal.
Sean Weida CTS is appointed to the new position of Principal of Operations. In addition to continuing to work with clients, his new company-wide operations management duties will draw considerably from his internal organizational skills developed over the past 8 years with the firm, overseeing large, complex science, research and medical applications. Credentials include a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications.
Paul Dooley RCDD, CTS is named new Principal of IT/Security Design. For nearly eight years, Paul has been providing leadership in Information Technology and Security design efforts. He will also continue to work with clients on education, medical, corporate, government, institutional, performing arts, broadcast, and sports & recreation projects across the country. Paul holds a degree in Business Administration Management Information Systems from Robert Morris University.
Both Paul and Sean are based in the Pittsburgh PA corporate headquarters. In making the announcements, Valenti said, “With the reorganization at this level, these tactical moves support continued growth and opportunity for the company while taking advantage of Sean’s and Paul’s natural abilities. Their new and expanded responsibilities will be key to furthering The Sextant Group’s remarkable growth and success.”
Additional promotions at the firm are anticipated.
