THE SEXTANT GROUP EXPANDS TO ATLANTA GA
JUNE 9, 2004 PITTSBURGH PA –
The Sextant Group, a nationally recognized,
independent consulting and design firm specializing in audiovisual technologies,
information technologies and acoustics, announces the opening of a new office
in Atlanta GA.
Since its formation in 1995, The Sextant Group has been active in Georgia,
North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. The opening of this new office offers
architects and engineers in the Southeast dramatically improved access and
better services from one of the nation’s top firms providing AV & IT design &
specification, acoustics consulting and strategic technology planning & program
development.
Announcements regarding the staffing of this new office are expected to be
made shortly.
The Sextant Group also operates offices in Pittsburgh PA, and
Phoenix AZ. Specializations include education, medical, corporate,
government, institutional, performing arts, broadcast, and sports and recreation
projects. Notable projects and designs in the region include the new Science &
Technology Building and School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Nursing,
and Health Sciences Library at East Carolina University, Greenville NC, Odum
Library on the campus of Valdosta State University, Valdosta GA, and
upcoming enhancements to the University of South Florida’s Marshall Center
in Tampa FL.
Other recent projects include Georgia Southern University, Georgia College
and State University, Augusta State, Middle Tennessee State University, and
the Professional Golfers’ Association, Jacksonville FL.
